I graduated with my BSN in December 2014. I took the NCLEX in February 2015 and unfortunately did not pass. I took it again later that year and failed a second time.
In 2016, I made another attempt and failed again. After that, I gave up because I truly believed I just wasn’t smart enough to become a nurse.
In 2024, I decided to try one more time. That decision changed my life because I connected with my victory life coach, Dr. Shalinda McKinsey.
Dr. McKinsey helped me see potential in myself that I couldn’t see. She coached me beyond what I ever thought I was capable of achieving. She held me accountable, kept me focused, encouraged me through the difficult moments, and reminded me not to give up on my dream.
